Title National Examination Venues to be Air Conditioned in May and October
Content

Starting 2017, national examination venues have been air conditioned between June and September. Considering high temperatures and the need to maintain a suitable testing environment, MOEX has decided to provide air-conditioning for exams held in May and October.

MOEX Minister Hsu Shu-Hsiang stated that the decision takes into account rising average temperatures in May and October due to the greenhouse effect and climate change and the Covid-19 mask mandate requiring all candidates and exam staff to wear mask during exams. Exams slated for October include: Level 3 Civil Service Senior Exam (October 9-11); Civil Service Junior Exam (October 16-17); stage one Civil Service Special Examination for Judges and Prosecutors and Bar Exam (October 24); Civil Service Special Examination for Judicial Personnel, Civil Service Special Examination for Investigative Agents, Civil Service Special Examination for Coast Guards, Civil Service Special Examination for Immigration Personnel, and the Judge and Prosecutor Qualification Examination (October 30-31).
