The Ministry of Examination (MOEX) held the "Forum on Establishing Recruitment Partnerships with Hiring Agencies" today, inviting representatives from central and local government agencies to share insights. The President of the Examination Huang Jong-Tsun, along with Examination Yuan Commissioners and Examination Minister Hsu Shu-hsiang, presented the MOEX Medals to recognize individuals for their outstanding contributions to national examinations. The medal symbolizes the highest honor in national examination affairs. Through these exchanges, MOEX aims to deepen collaboration with hiring agencies, fostering ongoing enhancements and sustainability within the national examination system.
MOEX emphasized that recruiting high-quality civil servants requires robust partnerships with hiring agencies. Its future plans include maintaining exam stability while gradually expanding joint efforts with hiring agencies. It’s imperative for hiring agencies to fully grasp the core competencies needed for their positions, and understand examination methods, procedures, and purposes, thereby heightening their involvement in the selection process.
President Huang Jong-Tsun unveiled MOEX’s ambitious reforms to keep the examination system up to date, including establishing a dedicated testing agency and expanding the role of hiring agencies in talent selection to enhance exam validity and reliability, and align examinations with employment needs. By presenting MOEX medals, Minister Hsu Shu-hsiang expressed gratitude to those supporting national exam administration, computer-based testing partners, and experts who provided consultation during the COVID-19 pandemic. MOEX has recently invited schools, central government agencies, and local government personnel managers who assist in administering national exams to share experiences and discuss international talent selection practices and increased hiring agency involvement. This forum addressed the gradual inclusion of oral testing in civil service examinations and training for hiring agencies to refine their professional skills. Examination policy direction and future development priorities were also covered.
The forum concluded at 4:30 PM, with active engagement and valuable feedback from attendees. MOEX provided detailed explanations and looks forward to advancing a new cooperation model with hiring agencies to recruit outstanding talent that meets agency requirements
