MOEX announced the 2025 national examination schedule, which includes 20 examination sessions. Among these are nine civil service examinations, nine professional and technical personnel examinations, and one combined session for both. Additionally, the National Defense Legal Officer Examination will be held to meet the demand for legal officers in national defense. In accordance with the Examination Affairs Act, the Ministry will follow the established timeline to ensure exams are completed on schedule and in compliance with legal requirements.

MOEX noted that the major changes to the 2025 exam schedule include the introduction of computer-based testing in the July exams for speech therapists and audiologists, advancing the digital transformation of national examinations. Three rounds of exams for registered professional nurses will be held to meet the staffing needs of medical care institutions. Some exam locations will also be adjusted. For example, the grade 5 special exam for local governments will merge with the elementary exams starting in 2024, and four new locations will be added in Taoyuan, Yunlin, Pingtung, and Yilan to reduce travel for local candidates.

The Ministry emphasized that, in accordance with the Examination Affairs Act, all examination procedures require prior approval from the Examination Yuan. For example, the process for a July 2023 exam began in March with a request to the Examination Yuan, followed by the president's nomination of the Chair of the Board of Examiners and approval during the Examination Yuan meetings. In May, the list of examiners, drafters, and reviewers was submitted. By June, the required quotas and list of graders were reported. In August, the additional quotas were submitted, followed by the oral examiners' list in September. Finally, in December, a comprehensive report on the exam process was submitted. Each step is carefully coordinated and approved by the Examination Yuan.

MOEX emphasized that following the announcement of the exam schedule, preparations will continue to ensure all national exams are completed on time and in compliance with legal requirements.
