The text of these Regulations is as follows:


Article 1
These Procedures are established as per Article 26, Paragraph 2 of the Examination Affairs Act.

Article 2
The exam administration agency shall mail score reports and exam result notifications within three days from the date of the announcement of exam results.
Only the examinee may apply for score verification. Applications are limited to the verification of scores for written exams, oral exams, psychometric tests, physical fitness tests, practical exams, authorship or invention reviews, and reviews of education and work experience related to competency.
To apply for score verification, examinees shall, within 10 days from the day following the announcement of exam results, log into the national exam online registration system, complete the required application information, and pay the service fee. Applications will be accepted only once. Late applications or applications without the required payment will not be processed. This provision also applies to exams where scores contribute to the examinee’s year-end performance evaluation.
For phased and staged exams, applications shall be submitted separately for each phase or stage within 10 days from the day following the announcement of each respective result. However, for exams where scores from multiple parts are combined into the final score, examinees may apply for score verification within 10 days from the day following the announcement of the results of the final part. Applications will be accepted only once.

Article 2-1
The service fee of NTD 50 shall be charged for each subject per request for written exam score verification. The same fee applies to score verification applications for exams where scores count towards an examinee’s year-end performance evaluation.
A service fee of NTD 50 shall also be charged for score verifications for oral exams, psychometric tests, physical fitness tests, practical exams, authorship or invention reviews, and reviews of education and work experience related to competency.

Article 3
Score verification application deadlines, application methods, fee standards, and required information shall be specified in the examination information pack.

Article 4
The exam administration agency shall complete the verification within 15 days of receiving the application. If the verification cannot be conducted within the prescribed period due to special circumstances, the agency may extend the time and notify the examinee.

Article 5
When conducting a score verification, the exam administration agency shall confirm attendance records, absences, point deductions for breaching rules, and exam dismissals, and whether the exam is written by the examinee and graded in accordance with regulations. The process shall comply with the following:
1. Essay-question exams: All of the examinee’s answer sheets shall be retrieved. For exams that use online grading, all of the examinee’s answer sheets scanned for grading must be printed, including graders’ comments, electronic signatures, and the points awarded for each question in the subject under verification.
The agency shall confirm the seat number, answer sheets, and handwriting before verifying the score. If the examinee requests verification of points awarded for each question, the agency shall provide the points for each question. Points for sub-questions will not be verified.
2. Multiple-choice exams: Answer sheets or computer-based test records shall be retrieved. The agency shall confirm the seat number to be correct and then verify exam scores and examinee responses. The agency shall notify the examinee the correct response count, points awarded, and score calculation rules.For paper-based exams, the agency shall confirm the seat number and ensure that responses comply with answering guidelines and scan answer cards with different sensitivity settings. In special situations where the examinee’s responses are not readable, manual grading may be performed in accordance with Article 20, Subparagraph 5 of the Examination Grading Regulations.
3. Oral exams, psychometric tests, physical fitness tests, practical exams, authorship or invention reviews, and reviews of education and work experience related to competency: All of the examinee’s answer sheets and grading sheets shall be retrieved. The agency shall confirm the seat number, points for each section, and averaged points and notify the examinee of the verification results.
4. For exams where scores are counted towards the examinee’s year-end performance evaluation, the agency shall confirm the seat number, raw performance evaluation points, and weights based on the year-end performance information provided by the examinee and notify the examinee of the verification results.
If the verification reveals that the examinee’s answers or use of tools do not comply with exam regulations and therefore could not be correctly scored, the reasons shall be explained to the examinee.
Any doubts in answer sheets or grading sheets discovered during verification shall be promptly investigated.

Article 6
If an error is found in the recording or calculation of a score upon verification, all of the examinee’s exam sheets shall be re-verified and the total score shall be recalculated in accordance with the following:
1. If the original score does not meet passing standards, but the recalculated score does, MOEX shall report to the Examination Yuan to qualify the examinee with the approval of the Chair of the Board of Examiners. If the Board of Examiners has been dismissed, MOEX shall report to the Examination Yuan to qualify the examinee.
2. If the original score meets the passing standards, but the recalculated score does not, MOEX shall report to the Examination Yuan to disqualify the examinee with the approval of the Chair of the Board of Examiners. If the Board of Examiners has been dismissed, MOEX shall report to the Examination Yuan to disqualify the examinee.
3. If both the original and recalculated scores either meet or do not meet passing standards, the exam administration agency shall notify the examinee.

Article 7
The examination administration agency shall report to the Chair of the Board of Examiners in any of the following situations:
1. Grade omissions;
2. The calculation process and results are clear, but graders do not mark essay questions in accordance with them;
3. A discrepancy between the score on the exam sheet cover and the score recorded in the exam sheet;
4. Errors in score calculation;
5. Points assigned to questions or sections exceed the maximum allowable score;
6. Other errors in exam administration.
Any situation above shall be reported to the Examination Yuan if the Board of Examiners has been dismissed. Adjustments to final scores shall be addressed in accordance with Article 6.

Article 8
Examinees may not request to have their exams re-graded, have their score reports copied, or request sample answers to essay questions.Examinees may not request the identities or other personal information of members of the Board of Examiners, drafters, graders, reviewers, oral examiners, psychometric examiners, physical fitness examiners, or practical examiners.

Article 9
These Procedures shall come into effect on January 1, 2016.
Amendments to these Procedures shall come into effect upon promulgation.
